The α-FeOOH crystals synthesized from purified pickling ,wastewater, are not much different from the α-FeOOH crystals synthesized from ,ferrous sulfate,, both of which show acicular particles. Figure 6 a–c shows that the acicular crystals tend to clump together to form agglomerates.
